Farmstead "Vaidelotes"
The farmstead "Vaidelotes" offers the opportunity to see the collections of herbs and medicinal plants, taste herbal teas, enjoy ancient Latvian cuisine and relax under the big oak tree. At the farm, you can get acquainted with Latvian meaning of life, everyday life in the rural area, healthy nutrition, and understand the bread-making process. “Vaidelotes” offers to celebrate Latvian annual holidays with songs and dances. The menu includes national cuisine – pork pies, honey bread or barley porridge cooked on the fire, topped up by a delicious tea, flatbreads, rolls, dumplings made from home-grown grains and coarsely ground flour.
