Farmstead "Mačēni"

In the farmstead “Mačēni” visitors are welcome to explore a collection of antiques “Sendienas”. The owner’s passion is collecting ancient and antique tools and objects, that’s why here can be found different thematic household, machinery and other practical item collections.
The owners’ hobby turned into an ambitious creation of the collection – here you can find more than 4 000 different size and shape pens, medical instruments, antique kitchen or school tools, old musical instruments, machinery, and other things!
The collection is separated in different exhibition rooms, depending on the thematics - “Milk room”, “Bedroom”, “Kitchen”, “Hair saloon”, “Classroom”, outside – barn, open-air garage with old trucks and machines like firetruck, bobsleigh, tractor and more!
In summer season a barn for events and celebrations (up to 70 pers.), sauna, bath tub, and playground are available.
