Located at the intersection of important trade routes, Bauska has been a merchant town since ancient times, so there are several large trade chain stores (RIMI, Maxima, TOP, Mego, etc.), our own market (Bauzes tirgus), where you can buy food and non-food goods, where fairs are also held, the store of local producers "Bauskas miestiņš un citi labumi", as well as several souvenir shops where you can buy products of local craftsmen and souvenirs that symbolise Bauska.
Free public toilets in Bauska:
- At Town Square on Pasta Street (winter (November - April) working hours: Monday - closed, Tuesday - Saturday 10.00-17.00, Sunday 10.00-16.00; summer (May-October) working hours: every day from 9.00-19.00).
- TC RIMI (during supermarket working hours).
