Art object "The beginning of Lielupe"

In the summer of 2019, an art object symbolizing the beginning of Lielupe was installed at the beginning of Ķirbaksala. The author of the idea of the object is architect Sandra Smolija, the author of forgings is Gints Kairēns, the contractor is LTD "Vides serviss".
According to a legend, a man called The Great Murza took the magical water from this confluence, wich he recomended to the ladies of Kurzeme, to bathe in for beauty purposes. He even sold this "special" water in barrels to the ladies in Jelgava and Riga.
