The internationally renowned ensemble Anacronía from Spain invites you on a magnificent journey to 18th-century Vienna – the world of the evenings of salon music by composer Mariana Martinez, where works by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Joseph Haydn and Niccolò Porpora were performed alongside. The concert brings to life the interplay of Baroque and Classicism, charismatically performed on historical instruments.
Performed by: Ensemble Anacronía (Spain), David Gutiérrez (traverse flute), Pablo Albarracín (baroque violin), Marina López (harpsichord), Luis Manuel Vicente (baroque viola), Marc de la Linde (viola da gamba).
The concert takes place within the framework of the S-EEMERGING programme with the support of the European Union's Creative Europe programme. The concert is organised by the Riga Centre for Early Music in collaboration with the Iecava Culture House.
