On 28th of June, everyone is invited to celebrate the 17th Garden Festival together in the French Garden of Rundāle Palace, which this year will be dedicated to the theme “Dance in the Garden”!
Throughout the day, the center of the festival program will be dance – from the Middle Ages to the present day, with a special emphasis on dances that were popular in the 18th century.
Riga Circus artists will delight visitors with clowning and acrobatic performances at the Green Theater, children will have the opportunity to participate in creative workshops and get acquainted with the reconstruction of the Daugavpils Fortress headquarters of 1812 by the “Daugavpils Historical Reconstruction Club” association. A market of plant growers, craftsmen and home-made products will be open throughout the day in the garden alleys.
At the end of the event, there will be a concert with the group “Iļģi”, dances and games.

On the day of the festival, tickets will be available for purchase at several points of sale in the castle territory.
