Everyone is invited to view the chronological presentation of the history of Bauska region, on a timeline from the 9th century to the end of the 19th century.
The exhibition will allow the visitor to follow the historical developments in Bauska region for 8 centuries, emphasizing existing cultural and historical monuments, which are also tourist attractions. A concentrated message is created about the object in text form, which is supplemented by a reconstruction of a costume characterizing the relevant period.
The reconstructions of historical costumes are from Bauskas rātsnama, Bauskas pils muzeja, Viļa Plūdoņa muzeja, Mazās muižas, Rundāles pils muzeja, Svitenes muižas, Mežotnes pilskalna.
In 2025, the twin city of Bauska region Ripin (Poland) celebrates its 680th anniversary. Responding to the call of Polish colleagues, as well as with the aim of creating and developing international cooperation in the field of culture and tourism, the exhibition is planned to be exhibited at the Dobżyna Land Museum in Ripin.
