7. December, 2024
Inviting children and parents to participate in the play program “Chest of Wonders”, on December 7 at 5:00 p.m., the lights of Bauska’s main Christmas tree will be lit in Bauska Town Hall Square.
Legend has it that a special chest of wonders is found at the North Pole. It is so special because it contains sparkling stardust, with the help of which it is possible to light the most beautiful Christmas tree. On the eve of the second Advent, Simba the Lion, Bambi the Deer and Snow White will set off to find not only the chest of wonders, but also the special silver key, with the help of which they can open the chest and let the main Christmas tree of Bauska shine most brightly. The chairman of the Bauska Regional Council, Aivars Okmanis, will also help the fairy-tale characters light the lights in the branches of the tree. Join the adventure to light our beautiful tree together!
After the event, visitors will be able to take photos with the friendly characters of the events.
