30. November, 2024 till 5. January, 2025

from 10:00 till 17:00

From 30th of November, 2024 to 5th of January, 2025, the Bauska Museum will host the Christmas exhibition “Where Does the Miracle Live?”.

At the Christmas exhibition at the Bauska Museum, hundreds of lights and cutely prickly fir trees, rocking horses that have experienced a lot of joy, signaling trains and delicate works of puppet masters have created a home for a miracle! Museum visitors are invited to indulge in the miracle, experience, explore, learn and participate ...

The museum’s historical exhibition will reveal to visitors Christmas decorations and end-of-year traditions throughout the 20th century – both at the beginning of the 20th century and in the 1920s and 1930s, during and after World War II. In the exhibition “Jews in Bauska”, visitors will be able to learn about the Jewish holiday of Hanukkah, which Jews celebrate at the end of each Christian year. Also on display is a collection of once-popular Christmas gifts - rocking horses; its oldest exhibit dates back to 1910. In turn, puppet artists from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia invite children and adults to be inspired to explore the world of wonders with their works. And then where else: experience the joy of creating a snowfall, a sleigh race, snowshoeing and much more...

Enjoy the festive atmosphere inside the museum and in the courtyard. Discover the power of miracles within yourself!
