In a quiet place in Latvia, at the foot of a castle hill, on a peninsula where two rivers become one - Bauska, the Festival of Silence takes place. It gives you the opportunity for three days to step away from everyday life, work and responsibilities TO RENEW, giving yourself a peaceful time and experiencing how the Thoughts calm down, but the Heart speaks and hears, giving the body the opportunity to stop and allow itself to be sorted out
here - at the Festival of Silence.
People meet here to relax from the hustle and bustle in the company of calm people or who choose to get to know themselves more by listening to speakers, enjoying acoustic concerts, art performances, participating
in creative workshops or sleeping in rocking chairs to give space to something bigger - ourselves!
Visitors do not use smart devices, observe silent communication with each other and do not use intoxicating substances. This year we pay special attention to the educational section of the festival, which deals with human physical and mental health, where delicate and professional lecturers and clergy give their vision, share their experiences, answer questions, there are also messages and handouts that each participant can receive free of charge . Various practices, meditations, yoga, creative moments in workshops or in the hammock, carefree time spent to empty yourself and give space to something bigger - yourself.
Families with children are welcome, so that the new generation, together with their parents, can get an idea of the opportunities to spend time interestingly, but without noise and commotion, thus truly enjoying rest with themselves and in themselves, next to those we love, and together with those who feel and think alike.
During the festival, we get to know and taste the healthy products offered by home producers from near and far regions, catering services are available, as well as the tasting and purchase of non-alcoholic beverages.
Favorite musicians and favorite melodies surprise us every evening and morning, without disturbing the silence that is inside us. We are waiting for a meeting with Rēzia Kalniņa, Raimonda Vazdik, Ieva Akurāteri, Ilzi Grunti, Kristini Prauliņa, Igo, Raimonda Ozola, Ainara Mielava, Laima Racenāja, Jānis Lūsēnas, Goran Gora, Kārli Kazākas and others. A variety of feelings and impressions that have not been experienced before. Three unforgettable days in harmony.
