The trio's new concert program "LATVISKĀ ELEGANCE" is about classic - melodic jazz, elegantly presented and accessible to every listener. The concert program intertwines compositions by Kristaps Vanadziņš, written especially for the trio and radiating Latvian melodic culture with intonations and dreamy shades unique to Vanadziņš, as well as works by Latvian old masters arranged specifically for this program. "Elegance is the purity and self-confidence of the mirror of a man's soul, Latvian elegance means exactly the same to me, only in a cultural symbiosis, how to integrate a written melody and take it to the listener in an elegant form and express it through your instrument. Melody takes the very first role and importance in my music, even though we express our personality with the trio through the prism of jazz music, we never limit ourselves to the boundaries of the genre and always give the music a capital letter.
Elegance is not only a form, but also an action and an explanation of work culture. Every note has an attitude!” – Kristaps Vanadzins
