29. December, 2023
Bauska Palace invites you to spend the end of the year in an entertaining and educational event "Livonian Christmas Party".
It will be a ball for ladies and gentlemen in the Christmas traditions of the Blackheads Brotherhood of the late 15th and early 16th centuries. There will be dances music, rest breaks, and a story about the Christmas tradition of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads, which lasted for several weeks. The number of seats at the ball is limited, therefore, we invite you to make your wish known in time.
"Livonian Christmas Party" is a beautiful tradition that started in 2012. It is a part of another traditional source of educational events in Bauska Palace - the lessons of the School of the Ancient Way of Life. During the classes, visitors have the opportunity to learn various skills of ancient crafts and get an idea of the lifestyle of people, domestic culture, science, discoveries and events corresponding to the period of Bauska Castle.
The ticket price is EUR 5 at the Bauska Palace Museum box office.
Book tickets by calling: 63922280 or 20011880.
Participants of the event can be photographed and recorded in video materials.
