The Bauska region Tourism Information Center has created several free audio guides in Latvian, Russian and English on the izi.TRAVEL platform. You can listen to it both on a computer and on a mobile phone.

Practical tips for using the izi.TRAVEL app on a mobile phone:

Download the izi.TRAVEL application, find Bauska and choose a route. The route is designed in such a way that the map and your location will be visible automatically when launching it. When entering the marked area of the object, the information about it will start to sound automatically. To make it more like a walk, the route can be continued without standing at each object for the entire duration of the recording, but spend as much time viewing the object as you wish and continue in the direction of the next object, when you enter its territory, the next narration will start. Only if you choose to listen and watch a You Tube video (turning on the mobile data), you must remember to exit it before reaching the next object area. Using this audio guide is convenient and easy, but if you still have questions, please contact the Bauska Tourism Information Center. izi.TRAVEL is a free platform with more than 10,000 multimedia guides for cities and museums around the world. It was created in 2011 by Dutch innovators together with Swiss investors, with the aim of connecting cities, museums and their stories to travelers in an innovative way - with a global, open and free platform.
