This summer's most awaited and taste buds-pleasing event in the Bauska region is coming very soon - Home Cafe Days on 19th and 20th of August!
Meals in three and even five courses, master classes, home producers' and craftmen markets, activities for both children and adults, musical performances - the Home Cafe Day owners have carefully planned every nuance in order to welcome and serve their cafe visitors with the greatest joy and hospitality!

* The farmstead "Padegas", where sea buckthorn, rhubarb, watermelons and melons are grown and processed on a daily basis, will offer you to taste gazpacho, the special "Padegas burger" with a homemade bun, pulled meat and toppings, homemade ice cream with watermelons, melons and seasonal berries. There will be an opportunity to go on a tour of the farm, participate in erudition game, taste and buy various products produced on the farm, or even pick sea buckthorn berries!
* The Rundāle Watermill Museum, which offers museum tours and active recreation equipment rental every day, has established a small brewery and has just started beer production. Visitors will have the opportunity to taste light beer "Rudmate", delicious snacks, and enjoy active leisure opportunities in the mill pond.
* The owners of Home Cafe "Pakavi", Karīna and Aivars Andreikas, are supporters of a healthy lifestyle and have been sharing their knowledge with others for more than 10 years, organizing various events for both children and adults. For eight years, they cherished their vegetarian cafe "Garuda" in Rīga and will be happy to offer a vegetarian and vegan-friendly menu in their home cafe, which is also popular with omnivores! Also, the "Creative Tent" will be available for the Home Cafe day.
* "Brunavas mālotava", which daily offers master classes in pottery, on Home Cafe Days will serve special mashed potatoes with beef onion batter, creating an impressive main course. A children's menu is also planned, an opportunity to shop at the "Local goods market" (local cheese, ice cream, wine, craftsmen work), enjoy musical performances, participate in a crafting master class and work with clay, relax in the "Hammock Park".
* The society "Bauskas Vecpilsēta", which organizes events and promotes the old town of Bauska to revive with other various activities, Home Cafe Days will be celebrating with cakes and pancakes in the courtyard of the Children and Youth Center. Center's "Good Taste Studio" and creative workshops both for young and old will be open throughout the day.
* Igo Music and Art center "Ceplis", which daily works as an attraction, invites you to experience the sparkling flavors and colors of Georgia in the artistically creative environment of "Ceplis". For two days, Lana, a lover of Georgia and connoisseur of the authentic taste, will cook an tell stories about traditional Georgian dishes.
* The farmstead "Celmi", which produces and processes dairy products on a daily basis, will offer dumplings (cottage cheese, onions, dried meat) with proper country cream and salad, meat and fresh cheese balls, cottage cheese desserts in the Home cafe. In the meadow, there will be a photo studio with natural props - cows and hay rolls, a painting exhibition ""Celmi" farm and cows in the view of artists", creative workshops for children - "Portrait of cow" with actual real life four-legged models. You can buy cheese, cream, cottage cheese and other goods made by farmers at the "Country market".
* In the holiday house "Semo Guest House", which welcomes guests every day for accommodation, for the main course will serve the family's masterpiece - juicy and soft beef cheek meat, a surprise for sweet dish lovers, as well as refreshing drinks. * Holiday house "Slokas", which welcomes guests every day for accommodation, will offer to enjoy the smell of lavender and herbs in romantic atmosphere. Guests will have the opportunity to get to know and discover herbs in soup, main dish and dessert, participate in a master class of garden herb cordials (homemade lemonade), as well as purchase self-grown lavender products. Children will be able to spend time in playgrounds, basketball courts or playing garden games.
