Aprašymas

St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic church is church of Jelgava Diocese of Riga Metropolis. The church was designed by architect Aleksandrs Paklons and it is one of the most modern catholic churches in the entire Bauska region. The height of the church tower reaches up to 38 meters.
The 250 kg heavy church bell was made in Poland and was donated to the church by the municipality.
The church was built with donations from the German Catholic organization. On August 23, 2009, Bishop Anton Just consecrated the church in the name of St. Anthony of Padua, thus symbolizing honor and guardianship.
